Marriage and Family Counselor MFT Needed work w/ children
Maxim staffing solutions is currently seeking three Social Workers (LCSW, MFT, MSW) to work full time in Oxnard CA.
We are looking for compassionate employees to work with children diagnosed with Autism.

Provide professional counseling services designed in assisting participants in behavior change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.
Responsibilities include:
o Provides professional counseling services to patients and their familieso May counsel and teach behavior change, stress management, and other program classes, which assist the participants in achieving, prescribed objectives.
Administer, interpret and assess the results of related program administered assessment tests.
o Assist with the development of mind/body programming into wellness program, i.
e.
cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, weight management.
o Provide education to patients and families related to issues that impact patient care.
o Conduct lectures and participates in community outreach activities.
Identify concerns and make referrals to other specialists when needed.
o Provide guidance and coaching to staff members working with clients as needed.
o Adheres to all Maxim and worksite rules, policies and procedureso Other duties as assignedQualifications include:
o Bachelor's Degree, usually in counseling, psychology, social work or related field preferredo Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work, Family Therapy preferred.
o Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as required by state regulations and/or contract specifications.
o One (1) year of experience in counseling preferred.
o Successfully pass all Maxim screening exams with a score of 80% or greater.
o Must meet Maxim's pre-employment screening requirements.
o Current physical exam, if required by state regulations or contract specifications.
o Current TB test or chest x-ray.
