This position will perform various tasks related to the operation, evaluation, and improvement of aerial targets and control systems to include supportability and maintainability requirements. Provide support to supersonic aerial target logistics and maintainability programs on issues such as: technical evaluations, identification of target systems logistics requirements and resources, development of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans, systems acquisition requirements analysis, budgetary and financial analysis, life cycle cost analysis, aerial target systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program management analysis. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information. Develops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. Coordinates support equipment movements, conducts equipment inventory, and maintains parts inventory for GQM-163 and AQM-37 supersonic target and control systems.
Duties may also include analyzing OEM contractual and budgetary commitments, program specifications and requirements, program design changes, and other program data to plan and develop logistics program activities from conceptual stage throughout the program life-cycle.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) and a minimum of ten years of relevant NAVAIR logistics experience. Experience with budgetary and financial analysis to include analyzing contractual commitments as well as life cycle cost analysis and control. Completion of Defense Acquisition University training course work that leads towards a Professional Logistics equivalent certification. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional three (3) years of experience working in direct support of Defense life-cycle logistics can be substituted for a BS or BA degree. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
