Description


    1. Program Planning and Budgeting:


      • Assist in developing and maintaining detailed program schedules and budgets.
      • Work with project managers and engineers to capture program requirements and translate them into detailed plans and estimates.
      • Support the creation of baseline budgets and schedules for new and ongoing programs.
    2. Monitoring and Analysis:


      • Regularly monitor actual program performance against planned performance, identifying variances and trends.
      • Perform risk analysis and contingency planning to address potential program deviations.
      • Generate financial and project reports for senior management, highlighting progress and areas of concern.
    3. Financial Management:


      • Track program expenditures and commitments, ensuring they are within authorized budgets.
      • Analyze financial data to provide cost forecasts and spending projections.
      • Support the financial integration of program milestones with corporate financial systems.
    4. Stakeholder Communication:


      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, supply chain, and finance.
      • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status, financial health, and risk management.
      • Facilitate meetings and presentations to discuss program progress and issues.
    5. Continuous Improvement:


      • Identify and implement process improvements in program control practices.
      • Utilize project management tools and software to increase efficiency in tracking and reporting.
      • Participate in audits and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.


Profile


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced finance degree is a plus.
  • 5
    years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Live in a commutable distance from Oxnard, CA
